Our daughter has attended piano lessons with Daniel for the last two years and her progress has been amazing. While she has been very enthusiastic herself, we owe an overwhelming debt of gratitude to Daniel and his methods of imparting his knowledge of music to her. She has been so proud of herself when she has learned a new piece of music and can't wait to share it with any and every person who visits our home. Daniel's patience when teaching has really helped our daughter to become so confident in herself, and her wish to impress him each week makes her practice so hard. (our almost 2 year old has been 'practising' a lot too after her sister!) She can't wait for her next term to begin and we can't wait to watch her grow more and pursue her -Daniel inspired- love of music! My son has had a great experience learning piano for the past 2 academic years. He started at the age of 6 and he has had nothing but a great experience. He always looks forward to it and shows a great interest in pursuing it. I have also noticed a growth in other areas such as self-confidence and progress in learning other subjects. I have been a piano student of Daniel for the past 4 years. Daniel is an exceptional teacher who is truly dedicated to improving his students' playing. He is a patient, caring and kind person, who goes above and beyond for his students. During the current pandemic I took part in Video Performance Reports with Daniel. His approach to this lesson format was excellent and very beneficial for me as a student. Daniel's reports on my playing were professional, thorough and insightful. It is clear he devoted a lot of time to these reports. His comments were always encouraging and exemplified true care for his student's playing. Daniel explained explicitly how I could improve my playing, giving me tangible points for improvement. His attention to detail was amazing, identifying inaccuries or potential improvements where few others could. By adapting my playing to his points I saw my playing improve significantly in a short space of time. I highly recommend his Video Performance Reports. --------------FRANCAIS----------------- J'avais déjà pris un an de leçon de piano en France avant de commencer mes 4 mois de leçon avec Daniel. Je suis passé d'une méthode de travail très rigoureuse et ennuyante (gammes et arpèges) à quelque chose de plus "simple" (pièces de piano et technique) et mon niveau de piano à énormément progressé en ces 4 mois. - La technique de Daniel est incroyable, toutes mes questions (très pointues qui recevaient habituellement une réponse presque fait sur le tas où peu pertinente) ont trouvé des réponses intelligentes et supporté par beaucoup d'arguments. - Sa culture musical est excellente, que ce soit sur les différents genre de musique, la musique dans le monde, la construction de la musique. - Excellent professeur qui adore enseigner, à sut trouver exactement les exercices et les pieces qu'il me fallait pour combler mes défauts et me faire progresser rapidement. - Est super sympa et drôle, adore parler, s'intéresse et est intéressant. Il est dans votre intérêt de travailler très dur avec Daniel car il est une mine d'or de ressources musicales et il y a énormément à apprendre de lui. ~ Enzo G
